Monitor and track Lightrun agents¶
The Lightrun agent runs alongside your application and enables real-time insertion of logs, snapshots, and metrics—without hotfixes, restarts, or redeployments. Observability points can be added by agent, tag, or custom source.

Each application should run its own Lightrun agent for full observability.
The Agents page in the Lightrun Management Portal lists agents in your organization. Agents are supported for up to 12 months after their release. From version 1.57, SaaS users can view dedicated icons indicating whether an agent is expired or approaching expiration. They can also download a CSV file to view a full list of all the agents in your organization.
View status of agents in your organization¶
- Log in to your Lightrun account.
- Navigate to Entities.
- Select Agents.
The Agents screen loads and appears similar to the following:
The following table describes relevant columns:
Column Description NAME The name of the server on which the agent is running. ENVIRONMENT The application environment. START TIME The time at which the agent was started. UPDATE TIME The last time the agent fetched actions from the server. ID The unique agent ID. API VERSION The Lightrun API version currently implemented. AGENT VERSION The Lightrun Agent version currently implemented. TAGS Tags attached to this agent.
